Ramos Timber is a Central Ohio design, remodeling, and custom cabinetry company built around a simple belief:

From design and planning to construction, cabinetry, installation, and final walkthrough, our team stays closely connected to every phase of your project. The majority of the work we perform is handled by our own people, not passed from one subcontractor to the next.
And through it all, owner Jorge remains personally involved.
Because to us, great remodeling isn't only about how a space looks when we're finished. It's about how you're treated while we're building it.

OUR STORY
An Engineer's Approach. A Craftsman Heart.
Before Ramos Timber, Jorge spent more than a decade in the corporate world as an electrical engineer after graduating from The Ohio State University. But building had always been part of him.
For years, Jorge spent his time outside of engineering renovating, building, and completing carpentry projects for friends and family. What began as a passion eventually became something much bigger: an opportunity to build a company around the same precision, problem-solving, accountability, and professionalism that defined his engineering career. Ramos Timber was born from that vision.
Today, Jorge brings both worlds together. The technical mindset of an engineer. The eye and experience of a craftsman. And the personal accountability of an owner whose name is attached to every project.
Jorge is not simply the person who sells your project and disappears once construction begins. He remains involved in planning, decision-making, project management, quality control, and communication throughout the process. We intentionally manage the number of projects we take on at one time so our team can stay focused, responsive, and fully invested in every home we work on.

One of the most important differences at Ramos Timber is also one of the simplest: Jorge stays involved.
You aren't meeting with a salesperson who hands your project to someone you've never met once the contract is signed.
Jorge takes the time to understand your project before it begins and remains connected throughout construction.
He also believes communication shouldn't be complicated.
At the beginning of the relationship, we'll ask how you prefer to communicate, phone, text, or email, and how frequently you'd like to hear from us.
Throughout active projects, Jorge personally connects with clients to provide updates, answer questions, discuss upcoming work, and make sure expectations remain aligned.
Sometimes that conversation lasts twenty minutes. Sometimes it takes two. What matters is that you aren't left wondering what is happening inside your own home.
